Our second home in the centre of Amsterdam
Jon received the keys from his work to an apartment located in the heart of Amsterdam. It’s considered a larger place in Amsterdam (75m2) but it’s on the fifth floor. It’s quite a challenge to hike up and down the narrow steap stairs with Marcus and the scroller. We became good friends with the owners of the restaurant at the ground floor. We can keep the scroller in their restaurant between 3 and 6 in the afternoon.
Marcus and I discovered a little lunch place with a great view of the whole city. We enjoyed the top view of Amsterdam for several hours.
The longer you walk through Amsterdam, you realize that you won’t find anything standing up straight.
When I went to the grocery store, the lady in the flower department liked Marcus so much that we received 10 tulips free of charge =)
The begijnhof in the centre of town is certainly a nice place to relax and enjoy the sun. It was so warm, that I could change Marcus’ diaper on the bench.
When we all went back to Belgium, we ended up in a big traffic jam. We didn’t move for 2 full hours but still managed to enjoy ourselves.
