Trips with visiting family

18 Mar 2007 @ 00:26

During the stay of Jeff, Staci, and Susan, we did take several little trips.

Jeff, Staci and Jon went one day to Amsterdam, allowing Staci to talk with the coordinator of a master program and hand over her application forms. Only a few days later Staci recieved a confirmation congratulating her with her acceptance to the program. Today Jeff and Staci are preparing to move to Amsterdam for a year, starting August 2007. Of course, Jon and I are super excited and can’t wait to have them live much much closer to us!
On the way back from Amsterdam, they had a little reunion of some online (filepile) friends in Utrecht.

Annick and Willy invited us for a tasty brunch and beautiful walk in Bokrijk.

The last day, we went to Mechelen where Susan bought enough chocolate (about 12 kg) to share with her colleagues in Stanford.
